Henley is a classic European-styled tassel loafer. Very versatile, it can look good formally with a suit or dressed down for a more relaxed look. This beautiful rich oxblood finish adds a pop of colour and looks great with blue or as a contrast to neutral outfits.

Why choose the oxblood Henley?

Henley is a classic, stylish tassle loafer exuding charm and a sense of fun. Easy to slip on, it is an effortless shoe to wear, and with its rounded toe and clean, uncomplicated lines, it is a versatile choice, as suited to a work environment as it is to the beach.

The Henley loafer in oxblood looks distinguished and dapper, and can be pared up or down depending on the occasion.

With its preppy charm, our Henley tassle loafer can bring a sense of fun to the workplace. Wear them with funky socks to really set them apart from a traditional Oxford lace-up, or try them sockless with shorts or chinos for a summer feel.

Oxblood works well with blues and greys, but this gorgeous rich tone will bring a splash of colour to any outfit.

Stitched leather sole and stacked leather heel

The sole is stitched onto the upper using a traditional and refined Italian method called Blake stitching. This allows the sole to be easily replaced when it eventually wears but we've used a rubber insert as well, to aid longevity and grip.

There is a 25mm genuine-leather stacked heel, with 6 brass pins and a rubber piece, again for longer wear and better grip. There is also a ‘gentleman’s corner’, a small bevel that reduces snagging of the heel on your trousers.

Materials and craftsmanship

We work with the finest Italian artisan shoemakers who showcase their expertise in cutting, shaping, stitching and dying leathers, skilled crafts that have been handed down through the generations.

With attention to detail being paramount, leathers are carefully selected by weight and pliability and cut to form the pattern to fit the last. Then several stages of dying, polishing and burnishing create the depth and richness of the unique oxblood colour.

Italy is renowned for the quality and style innovation of its beautiful leathers and components used in the shoemaking process.
