Do you have a retail outfit near me?

We don't have any retail outlets at the moment but we ship to customers all over the world. If you visit or are in the UK, you are welcome to visit us if you want to meet us and try the shoes on in person. 

Do you have any promotion codes?

We've try to set prices to be very competitive and great value. We don't offer promotion or voucher codes to new customers.   We do sometimes send existing customers voucher codes for example as a thank you for leaving a photo on social media.

Products and Sizing

Do your shoes run true to size?

Thomas Bird fits fairly true to size.   If in doubt, go half a size smaller.  See our size guide to show how EU sizes compare to US and UK sizing.   Please ask our advice and tell us what you normally wear and we'll be happy to help.  

How do I check my belt size?

Order your usual trouser/pant size in inches. Alternatively, measure from the end of the belt where it meets the buckle to the middle hole and let us know. 

What materials do you use?

All our footwear is made from full grain calf leather.  Soles vary depending on the style, either leather, rubber or a combination of both.

Can the soles be replaced?

Yes, all soles are blake stitched so you should be able to get them replaced by your local shoe repairer.

Shipping and Returns

How much does shipping cost?

FREE worldwide delivery - all orders over £100

How long does delivery take?

We normally send products that are in stock the same or next working day.

UK - delivery is next working day

US - UPS air courier normally takes 4-5 working days

Europe - Typically 3-4 days

Which courier do you use?

We use UPS for most deliveries outside of the UK.   For certain specific countries we may use other couriers.

How do I return my order if I want to?

First of all, please email us and let us know if you want a return or exchange for another size or style.

In the UK, exchanges are free and returns cost £5.

Outside the UK, customers are responsible for postage costs back to us.  To make it easier we may be able to email you pre-paid return labels subject to a £25 additional cost.

It is important that the documentation is marked as a 'customer return' to avoid unnecessary customs charges.  We will issue a refund or exchange if the products arrive back at our UK centre in their original condition.For more information go to our Delivery & Returns Page.
