Like brown, the lighter and slightly more yellow shades of tan are a classic and versatile colour. Tan shoes and boots can be successfully paired with many outfits. Tan looks good with neutral colours and navy/blue. Some people prefer tan to brown as it is a little more relaxed and less formal.
