I purchased a pair of Brown Benson Wholecut Oxfords (and a belt) in advance of my younger sister's wedding. First time I wore the shoes was at the wedding. Very handsome shoes that are distinct from much of what you'll see in the US (they run narrower and definitely appear to be of Italian make it have Italian influence). I received a number of compliments. Very clean and timeless aesthetic. Certainly an investment piece. I'll consider another pair in a different color going forward.
